Homeschooling Groups and Resources in Connecticut A- E

To succeed in homeschooling, it is in your best interest to get involved with other homeschoolers. You should join a homeschool network or group near you. For this reason, I have decided to give a full listing of homeschooling groups throughout each state. Yes, there are other sites that list homeschool networks and support groups but none of are comprehensive. Some of them only list Christian, others only list those affiliated with them. I will attempt to list all of them. This installment covers Connecticut A-E.

Between Counties homeschool group for Fairfield and New Haven Counties. It is an inclusive homeschool support group that serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties that has members from Greenwich to Waterbury and from Ridgefield to Hamden. The represent many curriculums and religions.

Milford, Stratford, Orange, West Haven and surrounding areas with elementary age children.

Christian CT Relaxed Homeschoolers CCC Homeschoolers happily is a non-denominational online Yahoo community. The majority of our activities take place in the East Hampton/Portland area.

Connecticut Cooperative of Home Educators East of the River
This group is a collaborative of homeschool families who are doing community outreach, sharing events, helping new homeschoolers get started, and more.

Connecticut Homeschool Network (CHN), Inc. is Connecticut’s statewide information and support network.

Connecticut Homeschoolers’ Inclusive Connects and supports Connecticut homeschoolers regardless of geographic location, method of instruction or religious affiliation.

Connecticut Pagan Homeschoolers A non-profit organization dedicated to helping Pagan homeschooling families connect.

CT Cooperative of Home Educators East of the River (CHEER) This group has a community focus for homeschooling families who live east of the Connecticut River.

CT Homeschoolers’ Inclusive
Our goal is to connect and support all CT homeschoolers. The Yahoo Message Group is the hub of our activity, allowing homeschoolers across the state to connect to share ideas, methods, events and support.

CT Valley Central Homeschoolers
Large, friendly, and welcoming group of homeschool families with cooperative classes, field trips, park days, special events and evenings (history fairs, science fairs, etc).
