Today’s website is Owl & Mouse Educational Software. Owl & Mouse Educational Software offers free educational games, as well as some links to some great lessons. Some of their games can be downloaded onto your computer, while others can be played on the web. Some of the games include geography, reading, build a farm or village. Math, humanities and science are the categories for the links to the lessons. They are listed under “active learning projects.”
Word of the day: gregarious \grih-GAIR-ee-us\, adjective:

2. Seeking and enjoying the company of others.
Today’s homeschooling book(s) of the day is: The Ultimate Book of Homeschooling Ideas. This is one of Linda Dobson’s best books. It’s a large book of great suggestions and ideas for activities for all homeschoolers. Most of these activities require nothing that you wouldn’t normally have around your house anyway. If you hear “Mom, there’s nothing to do,” or you are just looking for some new ideas to try, this is the book for you.
