You’ve got your kids’ costumes ready, but what are you dressing up as this Halloween?
Most adults turn to Tinseltown and the celebs who roam the famous streets of Hollywood for inspiration.
Donald Trump’s infamous combover was once part of the hot Halloween scene, but not this year. According to a survey done by a leading marketing company, Halloween 2007 will be known as the Brangelina holiday.
If you are attending a Halloween party expect to see plenty of couples donning spiky blond Brad Pitt-locks and plumping up their pouters Angelina Jolie style. The handsome duo ranks among the hottest celebrity costumes, according to the survey.
And you thought Ellen and Iggy would be the celebrity couple to beat.
Following Pitt and Jolie were Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. The custody battling couple ranked second in the poll, inching out costumes of former First Lady-turned-presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and husband and former President Bill Clinton. Coming in fourth in the poll of hot celeb costumes was couch jumper Tom Cruise and his cupcake-toting wife Katie Holmes. The overrated British duo of David Beckham and his wife Victoria “Posh Spice” finished fifth.
For those of you going solo on All Hallows Eve and are still looking for a costume, Jay Leno was voted as the most coveted late night TV host costume. Leno beat out rivals David Lettrerman and Jon Stewart to take the honors.
As for the daytime TV hosts Americans would most like to dress as survey says… Oprah Winfrey. The billionaire topped the list, followed by Ellen DeGeneres and Dr. Phil.
Rosie O’Donnell did not make the list this year. However, the outspoken former talk show host is back in the headlines for other reasons (surprise, surprise). According to news reports, the comedian turned author thought her Saturday would consist of a quiet afternoon signing her new book at a shop in Long Island. But, one of her archenemies, Bill O’Reilly, had other ideas.
The host of FOX News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” reportedly sent his khaki-clad henchmen to ambush O’Donnell while she was signing copies of her new book, “Celebrity Detox.”
Witnesses say O’Donnell calmly reacted to O’Reilly’s camera crew for the first 10 minutes. But, when one of the show’s producers asked the former “View” co-host if she regretted saying 9/11 was an inside job, O’Donnell reportedly lost her cool.
“I didn’t say that. He’s quoting the wrong people,” Rosie replied before a security guard stepped in front of the camera.
In the end O’Reilly’s crew was escorted out of the store and O’Donnell went back to greeting fans.
Wonder if O’Reilly will air the O’Donnell footage on his Halloween show?
