How Do I Find Time To Scrapbook?

School’s officially out for the summer, the children are home full-time, and unless they are in a rigorous camp program, you are bound to be entertaining at some point. Most people assume that when summer approaches, they will have more time to relax, more time to do the things they want to do, this isn’t always true.

Summertime brings people outside, through camping trips and swimming, camp programs and fairs and carnivals, and the list goes on and on. Summertime is statistically the time when the most people enjoy being outdoors. As we all know, scrapbooking is not really an outdoor activity.

With all the hustle and bustle and activities, how do you find time to scrapbook? Time management is always the key to scrapbooking, however there are other methods besides just managing your time better, that can allow you to find some time to do your favorite hobby.

Take it with you. If you have a laptop, take it with you and do your journaling while you are relaxing at the pool. It is not recommended that you bring along your supplies or any page kits at this point, because your hard work could so easily be destroyed at locations such as the pool or beach.

The days are longer, so try to utilize this by adding some extra ‘me’ time and put together a few pages.

Use the freedom of the outdoors and the fact that it is harder to find time to scrap, to build up even more pictures that once the weather changes, or on a rainy day, you can scrapbook.

Summer brings a plethora of photo opportunities, and if you just spend some extra time taking those pictures, you will have plenty to scrapbook when the time allows or the mood strikes.

Don’t stress about getting that extra time, but if you are stressing or missing it terribly, look into time management methods that work for you and try to stick to a plan.

Enjoy your summer. That’s the most important part.
