How to Apply for a Reality Show

So you want to be on a reality show? Chances are if you are determined, you will land on one. That is because there are now dozens of reality shows in the works, and the production companies behind them are desperate to find unique individuals for these shows.

You just need to know where and how to apply. You’ll also want to be prepared with some items before hand, such as photos of yourself and the ability to send in or upload a video, if requested. It also helps to have a lot of friends, since some casting agents will set up websites and have the potential cast be voted on.

You can usually find casting opportunities online. Troll various forums where casting agents may put out a call, for example, a coupon forum for Extreme Couponers. You can also visit television websites, where casting opportunities are posted. Finally, do a Google search on “reality casting.” There are actually a number of websites out there that gather casting opportunities and post them online in one place.

Just to get you started, here are some places that will allow you to apply for a reality show. Just Google the terms to find the sites.

ABC Casting. Here is how you can apply for several different reality shows including: The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Shark Tank, Take the Money and Run, Wipeout, and You Deserve it.

NBC Casting. Apply for great reality shows such as Home Transformers, Love in the Wild, America’s Got Talent, The Biggest Loser, Fear Factor, Stand Up for Diversity Talent Search, and The Sing-Off.

TLC Casting. TLC is the king of reality shows. Apply for one or many of the following reality TV shows: Say Yes to the Dress Bridesmaids, a new pregnant but struggling with weight show, My Collection Obsession, Gypsyville, Outrageous Kid Parties, Extreme Couponing, A Conception Story, Say Yes tot he Dress Big Bliss, Toddlers & Tiaras, Strange Sex, My Strange Addiction, The Lottery Changed My Life, Four Weddings, and a few more reality shows.
