How to Get Free Makeup

Would you like to take advantage of free makeup? There are a few different ways that you can get free makeup. Here is how.

At Your Local Salon or Spa

You may not have heard of this, but many salons and spas will offer you a free makeup application just for asking. This is because they want to be able to try new products on real people and give new employees the chance to practice and build up their clientele. If you like the way your make up was applied, they hope you will come back again and pay for the service.

This offer is generally not advertised, and not all salons or spas will do it, but it is worth asking.

At the Department Store

All of those make up counters are there for a reason. They are staffed with professionals who are only too happen to give you a free makeup application in exchange for promoting their products. Just remember two things: one, you are in charge and can tell them exactly how much or how little makeup you want and the style of make up (natural, glamour, etc); two, you are not obligated to buy anything they are selling.

In the Mail

There are many opportunities for free makeup samples that you can get through the mail just for signing up with the various brands. Sometimes they will also send you coupons along with your free makeup samples.

To find these offers, do an Internet search using the terms “free makeup sample,” visit the websites for your favorite makeup brands, and check in with a free sample site.

Using Coupons

I mentioned getting coupons. Well, did you know that by practicing a little extreme couponing, or at least smart shopping, you can get a lot of makeup for free. Combine those coupons with sales and rebates to reduce the price to zero on your favorite makeup brands. You can also usually apply dollar off coupons to travel or sample sizes, making them free.
