How to Make Your Own Cleaners

Why fill your home with a lot of expensive cleaners? You can make your own very easily and save money. Plus, with the simple ingredients that you use to make them, you can mix them up any time that you need a new supply. Save money, save time and forget about relying on sales and coupons. These cleaners are so cheap that you can be generous with how you use them.

To make all-purpose cleaner, you’ll need to mix equal parts of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Add a little bit of tree tree oil, and you are all set! It is that simple. You’ll have a great all-purpose cleaner that can work in every room of your home. The nice thing about this all-purpose cleaner is that it also disinfects!

To make a glass cleaner, skip the harsh ammonia or other chemicals. All you need is some pure lemon juice. Buy it by the bottle or squeeze your own. You just need to add a few drops of the pure lemon juice to a spray bottle filled with water. As a bonus, it will make your home smell wonderful. It is also so much better for you and your family to breathe in the smell of lemons instead of chemicals. Use it on all of your glass surfaces, such as windows, mirrors and more.

It is also good to have a scouring powder in your arsenal. You want to be able to get at tough stains in your bathtub, on your counter, etc. Making a scouring powder is the easiest thing to do of all. Simply add some water to plain baking soda. You can do this right directly on your cloth. Use more water for a thinner, finer scrub and less for a thicker, coarser scrub. It is that simple. Also use this scrub on the outside of your toilets. They will sparkle.
