It was a big weekend for celebrity weddings. After Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds’ hush-hush wedding a week ago, Howard Stern and new wife Beth Ostrosky did it up big. The couple married in New York on Friday with such guests as Donald Trump, Kelly Ripa, Jimmy Kimmel, Chevy Chase, Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, and Billy Joel looking on. Rumor has it that Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, is an ordained minister and he officiated the ceremony.
The couple started planning the big event last December. Romance was the theme with 2000 weeping willows filled with white orchids hanging over the guests. As for dinner, the guests got to munch on scrambled eggs with white truffles, tortelloni with Taleggio cheese, and stripped bass with caviar.
The model and the shock jock didn’t exactly rush to the altar. The two have been dating for eight years. Still, Stern said what they had was “true love.” It is the second marriage for Stern and the first for Ostrosky.
Sunday was the wedding day of season 6 “American Idol” finalist LaKisha Jones. Jones married her fiancé, financial adviser Larry Davis, before 50 friends and family at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Among the former Idols there were Haley Scarnato, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen, and Sanjaya Malakar.

Jones’ daughter Brionne served as the flower girl. The bride wore a strapless Alfred Angelo dress accessorized with crystal encrusted Stuart Weitzman shoes and a diamond earring, necklace, and bracelet by Neil Lane.
Davis proposed to Jones in June by giving her a Louis Vuitton handbag that belonged to his late mother. Inside was a card that read “Happy today, happy together, happy forever…” The two plan to honeymoon in Barbados.
After the honeymoon, Jones will head back to work as her new single “So Glad I’m Me” will be released on October 21.
