I realized that Hulk Hogan went through a bitter divorce. I also realized that wrestling is a dangerous “sport” that can often result in concussions and the research the affects of those on athletes are still out. But still, I don’t understand how Hulk Hogan could say in a Rolling Stone interview that he “totally understood” O.J. Simpson.
In part of the interview, Hulk said “I could have turned everything into a crime scene like O.J., cutting everybody’s throat.” He went on to say, “You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater [Florida] and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife.”
As you may know, Hulk’s ex-wife Linda was seen around town with a 19 year old, but reportedly the two have broken up. Hulk himself has been seen with a woman not only young enough to be his daughter, but bearing a striking resemblance to Brooke.
Of course, Hulk’s people zoomed in to try to save the day by issuing a statement that said Hulk “in no way condones the O.J. situation” then added that, “As a part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation.”
Linda too was quick to respond. She said, “Hulk’s serial cheating destroyed our marriage, our family and our future. Sadly, his recent comments remind us that his definition of fair is much different than what the law dictates.” Her rep said, “Linda and her family are taking these recent homicidal comments seriously. Linda’s attorney Ray Rafool is weighting all options necessary to protect his client.”
Hulk, align yourself with anyone but The Juice! I mean, I know O.J. was found not guilty of the murders, but even in his interview, Hulk insinuates that O.J. did commit them. What is it going to take for Hulk to think before speaking?
