Stock up on coupons that you can use on staples such as soda, crackers and chips. Apple juice warmed on the stove is cheaper than apple cider–just throw in a couple of cinnamon sticks or some mulling spices.
Create your own unique and frugal New Year’s Even by building a bonfire in the backyard, taking advantage of free local activities, watching a movie marathon, or making hot chocolate and popping pop corn.
