Indoor Safari Park

Jessie and I had stopped going to play places for a long time because it wasn’t fair to Emily. When Emily was a baby we could leave her in her Chicco Keyfit on the floor. When Emily got a little bigger we could put her in a high chair. It was easy. I could watch Jessie play and sit with Emily. When Emily became a mover and started crawling, she didn’t want to sit patiently in a high chair anymore; she wanted to get up and play. I wasn’t comfortable letting Emily down to crawl around because while the places were walking around clean, they weren’t exactly crawling around clean. When Emily started walking we could go back to play places. I still worried, though, that she’d spend more time on the floor than actually enjoying any play time with Jessie.

One of my friends posted an offer she accepted through kgbdeals. The coupon was for a place called Indoor Safari Park. I had never heard of it. The offer was two children for six dollars. I didn’t know if Emily would count, but six dollars was still better than ten dollars.

My friend and I decided to go to the Safari Park today. The girls and I loved it. It was a very fun place. There are two climbing structures: one for two- to four-year-olds and another for five- to ten-year-olds. There was also a toddler area with lots to play with.

While the place was great and we had a wonderfully good time, the place has a lot of wasted potential. The robotic ride-on animals didn’t run the entire time we were there. The train ran only a few times. There are no safeguards at the door to keep children in. With better management the park could be worth the $10 fee.
