On May 9, 2012, in Hour 1 of the podcast, he talks about how the auto insurance market share war could result in driving down the rates for premiums of auto insurance. He also talks about the many health care expenditures that are preventable if a person changes his or her lifestyle. This could be a way to make your health insurance cost a little bit less for you.
The Clark Howard Radio Show also released an episode on May 8, 2012. In Hour 1 of the podcast, he talks about Costco and how it is starting to sell health insurance. It is actually being sold exclusively to Costco customers through a Costco website. Aetna is selling specially priced policies to Costco members.
America’s Healthcare Advocate Show released a new episode on May 11, 2012. This episode is called “Shawnee Health Services (Ashlee Maxim)”. She is with Shawnee Health Services. They discuss the importance of dental care. Obviously, dental care is less expensive if you happen to have dental insurance coverage.
Arizona Public Media has an episode that was released on May 1, 2012. The episode is called “With Mental Health Services Lost, Families Bear the Burden”. The episode focuses on what happens to families who were relying on the Arizona State Medicaid program now that Governor Jan Brewer has made massive cuts to the budget of that program.
