This Blog is titled “Week In Preview” because rather then look back, I am looking forward to 2007. Naturally, my year has started with a major glitch and complete computer crash, resulting in the need to restore my system, and reconnect to my internet service! Thank goodness I own a computer with recovery made (geek-insurance) and I was able to click my way out of complete electronic meltdown.
I am a person who actually does make and write down my New Years Resolutions. This year I start inspired and ready to take the Insurance Blogs to a new level. Things got started in March 2006 and have some good Blogs build a solid foundation of information, but I am excited to start adding much more!
The aim of 2007 is to share with my readers why Insurance is a Lifestyle to me and why I think it should be for everyone. I am adding some new categories to the Insurance Blogs including Ask Anna where readers are welcome to PM me with a Insurance question or Claims situations.
I will be reporting more Insurance News because understanding a little bit about the Business of Insurance is an important part of living an Insurance Lifestyle. I’ll also be including information, tips and support for those who make a living in the Insurance Business.
The Underwriting and Credit Score category is long overdue as these aspects of Insurance are often the most confusing for policy holders to understand. As 2007 unfolds I hope to add information, links and resources for each of the 50 states, as well as an in-depth explanation of some of the basic Insurance Terms, most people only pretend to actually understand.
Insurance is a difficult subject to get excited about, but my hope is to offer a new perspective and make the whole thing less intimidating for the ordinary consumer. I invite readers to add comments and PM me with any questions, tips or expert advice they may have to share.

Insurance Term of the Week:
- A specific risk or cause of a loss covered under the terms of an insurance policy.
- A peril may include fire, windstorm, flood, or theft.
- When a peril is named in the policy as a “named” peril policy the insurance will cover the policyholder only for the risks named specifically in the policy.
