Is He the Man of Your Dreams?

If you were asked to describe your idea of a perfect man, would you be describing your husband? I think that this question all depends on the day and time that it is asked! Of course we all have those moments when we feel that our spouses are less than perfect. However, in general, are you satisfied with what you have or are there a few things that you would change if you had the chance?

I have noticed at some of my girlfriend get togethers there are some women who continuously complain about their husbands. I cannot say that I have been completely exempt from complaints (again time and day matter). Yet the majority of the time my thoughts are very positive.

I also hear the same at work, there are some women who just cannot seem to say anything positive about their husbands. So are these women all full of negative talk or are they really that unhappy with the spouse that they have chosen?

I think that a lot of creating success in any form of relationship is attitude. When we consume ourselves with negativity we tend to have a bad attitude. Perhaps this is part of the problem in those relationships. Thinking and talking positive about your relationships and marriage can help things improve greatly.

While none of our husbands are perfect (no human is) they should be so in our eyes. Even tough we are not blind to the imperfections as during the honeymoon stages, the acceptance of each other’s faults should be there.

If you cannot think of anything positive to say about your spouse then perhaps you need to reexamine both your marriage and yourself. A couple is meant to be uplifting and supportive. Partners should never make one another feel bad or down about themselves. We get enough of that from the world without having it in our marriage.
