Jack is Back

In love, that is.

Well, almost.

Jack Nicholson, known as much for his ability to score with women as he is to score acting awards says he is ready to fall in love again.

The legendary ladies’ man says he is a fool for love and is not letting his age (he’s 70 years old) stop him from trying to woo women. However, the Oscar winner does admit that as he heads into his sixth decade of dating he has fine tuned his approach.

“I can’t hit on a girl in public like I used to,” Nicholson recently told AARP The Magazine. “I never thought words like ‘undignified’ would come into my own reflections on myself, but I can’t do it anymore.”

Nicholson, who was married to Sandra Knight in the 1960s and whose past high profile flames include actresses Anjelica Huston and Lara Flynn Boyle, explains: “I feel uncomfortable. I don’t think anybody cares what I do in these areas, but it feels a little bit off to me.”

And in case you had any doubt, Nicholson says he is “absolutely an equal opportunity dater.” He says he’d date a woman close to his age – or younger.

“In fact, every year I like to cover a very broad spectrum,” Nicholson joked.

But something the 12-time Academy Award nominee isn’t kidding about is the fact that he has been single for “far too long.”

For the past several years the actor says he has been spending a lot of time with his teenage children with ex-girlfriend Rebecca Broussard. (No word if they are seeing more action in the dating department than their dad.)

The “Terms of Endearment” star says he is looking for “that one last big romance” before he leaves this world.

Some how I don’t think he will have a problem accomplishing that goal. Do you?
