What is the Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest?
Now is the time to reinvent the peanut butter sandwich. Children ages 6 to 12 from now until October 12, 2011 can enter to win Jif’s Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich. Your child could win a $25,000 college fund! In addition, Jif is celebrating the 10th year of the contest by granting the grand prize winner $10,000 for educational products.

How are the sandwiches judged?
The sandwiches will be judged by creativity, taste, nutritional balance, visual appeal and ease of preparation.

What did last year’s winner submit?
Margalit M. of Raleigh, NC, age 8, created “Wushu Chicken Tacos” that combined a drizzle of spicy peanut sauce made with Jif Creamy Peanut Butter with chicken, asparagus and squash, wrapped in a tortilla.

I love peanut butter. I will admit I am not a fan of jelly but peanut and I are good friends. I almost gave up peanut butter because of the partially hydrogenated oils which most of the main brands use in their peanut butter. I tried several natural brands and I was always disappointed. I grew up on Jif and frankly it was all I bought. Now, Jif has come out with Jif Natural. I think I did a happy dance when I saw it. A great tasting peanut butter that was all natural? Can it be true? Yes, it is true. I love the taste and that there is no need to stir. Ah…Jif has done it again. Another family tradition of Jif on the rise in my home.
