Joaquin Phoenix is in the news again and as you might suspect, it is not in a good way. The actor turned rapper has puzzled everyone with his new bizarre personality and looks, but no one really seems to know if it is all an act or just a frightening public breakdown a la Britney.
Phoenix was performing at the Fountainbleau’s LIV nightclub in Miami Wednesday night when he experienced a heckler (and if you’ve hear his “music,” that is completely understandable!). It was around 2 a.m. when Phoenix, who had exchanged barbs with the heckler, decided to take matters into his own hands. He dove into the VIP area of the crowd (you can see the video here at TMZ). No one was hurt and I don’t think Phoenix ever even got to the heckler, but thank goodness Casey Affleck was there with his camera to document it all.
Well, one thing about Joaquin Phoenix – he certainly seems to know how to keep his name in the news!
Rocker/reality star Bret Michaels has decided to reveal all in an autobiography titled “Roses and Thorns: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy to My Reality.” The book, published by Simon & Schuster, is set to hit bookstores this June. What juicy info will it contain? Michaels has said “It gives you the sex, the drugs, the rock ‘n’ roll, but it also gives you the diabetes.” For those that don’t know, Michaels has been a Type I diabetic since the age of six. In fact, photos of him injecting insulin during the Eighties lead to rumors of him being a heroin addict. Far from it, I am thinking. If Michaels hadn’t taken care of himself during his hardcore rock ‘n’ roll years, he might not be here today to write about his adventures.

No doubt the autobiography will touch on Michaels’ relationship with Pamela Anderson and his journey into reality television, but Michaels also promises it will talk about band interaction, including conflicts between him and guitarist C. C. DeVille, who did have a drug problem.
If you can’t get enough of Bret, he will be releasing a solo album later this summer and Poison is set to tour with Def Leppard and Cheap Trick in June.
