It should hardly surprise anyone that Prince Caspian will soon be an attraction at Disney World. If it does surprise you, consider for a moment that this is what Disney does? They take the imagination and bring it to life on the big screen and in their parks. The filmmakers have worked with Disney’s Imagineers to create this 3-D extension of Prince Caspian.
The Journey
The journey starts in the queue where you will be tested on your knowledge of Narnia. As you head into the soundstage, you get to meet Prince Caspian himself. You’ll then get a look at Soundstage 4 and the epic story where special behind-the-scenes footage will be aired. As you plunge deeper into the attraction, you will find Aslan’s Stone Table Chamber. This underground vault Is where Aslan sacrificed himself during the first movie. If you haven’t seen Prince Caspian yet, you’ll find out it’s also a scene for a very pivotal part of that movie.
Utilizing multiple screens, 3-D sound and theater effects, you will experience the story of Narnia firsthand where Prince Caspian battles King Miraz to regain his throne. The journey ends with a look at storyboards and concept art along with costumes and props from the film. This is a chance for visitors at Disney to really experience Narnia whether you love the films, the books or both.
