Shia LaBeouf Arrested
Seems like I remember reading not too long ago that Shia LaBeouf wanted to be a boring young actor who stayed out of trouble, but he didn’t do that last weekend. He was arrested in Chicago early Sunday morning at a Walgreens drugstore. A security guard reportedly asked LaBeouf to leave the store because he appeared to be drunk. The 21-year-old LaBeouf refused to leave and the police arrived about 2:30 am to arrest him.
To his credit, the police said he was very courteous and polite. He was released on bond later that morning. He is set to appear in court on November 28. LaBeouf starred in the summer blockbuster Transformers and he will also star in the much anticipated Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Like Father Like Son?
We all know of Mel Gibson’s alcohol problems with the law last year, but apparently, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Mel’s 25-year-old son Edward has reportedly checked into the Cri-Help center in September and will not see any visitors. Reports say he has been battling an addiction not only to alcohol but also to cocaine. Friends say Edward cut off all ties to his friends and family to fight this addiction without any distractions.
Lance Bass was Married?
Former ‘N Syncer Lance Bass, who announced he was gay last summer in a People Magazine article, told E! that he once married a girl in Las Vegas. Lance said he and a friend who was a girl had a quickie Vegas wedding in “1999 or 2000” just to get free drinks. He said, “People do stupid things in the heat of the moment. I’ve been in Vegas where I’ve gotten married for like five minutes, but no one talks about it, though. In fact, the only reason we did it is because we wanted to get free drinks all night…and we didn’t get one. We’re like ‘We just got married,’ and they’re like, ‘Ah, whatever.’”
Bass’ publicist Ken Sunshine said the singer’s words were misconstrued. A search of Clark County marriage licenses issued for the last thirty years came up with none under Bass’s name.
My question is why would Lance Bass need people to buy him free drinks?
