Juicy Hollywood Gossip: Mary-Kate’s Frown Explained and Kingsley Marries

Ah, Mary-Kate Olsen may have a billion dollars (okay, maybe not but it seems like it), but she still just does not get it. She was asked why she seemed to always look depressed in photos and she said, “I don’t want my picture taken.” She went on to say it is okay to have her photo taken at a red carpet event, but not just on the street. “So every time I see paparazzi, I cover my face so they don’t get a picture, and I’m just a mean person who doesn’t smile.” Hum, I have seen her face in a lot of photos, even candid ones. I just figured she had cultivated the Victoria Beckham pout (yes, Victoria actually said she worked hard to get that facial expression) to make her look more mysterious.

Mary-Kate also went on to say she would love to be able to swim, but she does not want a bikini shot taken. If that were to happen, she would fear being in a “Who’s Skinny, Who’s Fat, Who’s Looking Healthy, Who’s Not Eating” issue of some tabloid. Um news flash to Mary-Kate – Honey, you are already in those issues.

At any rate, Mary-Kate will be featured in 10 episodes of Showtime’s “Weeds” and she will appear on the big screen with Ben Kingsley in “The Wackness.”

Speaking of Sir Kingsley, he has married for the fourth time – in secret! He married Daniela Barbosa, a Brazilian almost half his age at 32. Kingsley and Barbosa married last Monday at a country house in Oxfordshire before a few friends. The reception was held in Kingsley’s $5 million dollar home, however the honeymoon will have to be put on hold due to Kingsley’s busy filming schedule. Kingsley said Daniela is like “an ancient mythological princess. She has great dignity. She moves like an ocean liner.”
