Brandy Exits “America’s Got Talent”

Did you watch NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” last year? If so, you may remember the judges were David Hasselhoff, Piers Morgan, and R&B singer Brandy. The host of the show was Regis Philbin, but it has already been announced that Jerry Springer, not Regis will be the host for next season. Now it appears that only judges David and Piers will be returning for season two. Brandy has announced that she will not be back for season two and will be replaced by reality tv star Sharon Obbourne. Brandy is still facing vehicular homicide charges that stem from a fatal car crash in December of last year.

Personally, I didn’t like Brandy as a judge very much. I think Sharon may have more of a “Simon” personality where Brandy was too “Paula.”

Isaiah Washington Just Says No

After his controversial homophobic remark to co-star T.R. Knight, Grey’s Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has decided to pull his name from the Emmy Awards race. Washington apologized to the gay community for his remarks and he attended counseling sessions.

He is the only Grey’s Anatomy cast member to take his name off the ballot. But, it is probably best. After all that has gone on in the last year, what are the chances he would win an Emmy anyhow?

Linday Lohan Admits Irresponsibility

Lindsay Lohan has finally admitted that she was a “bit irresponsible” on the set of Georgia Rule last year. If you don’t remember, there was quite a hubbub going on about her not showing up to the set. It prompted co-star William H. Macy to say, “A lot of actors show up late as if they’re God’s gift to film. It’s inexcusable.” Studio executive even sent Lindsay a letter after she was taken to the hospital for exhaustion. In the letter, he said she was acting like a “spoiled child” and said her behavior was “unprofessional.”

Perhaps Lindsay’s recent stint in rehab has led her to reevaluate her actions. She has said she did not “think about the consequences, but I was also going through something in my life.”
