Goran Visnjic Slapped with a Paternity Suit

I must admit that actor Goran Visnjic, who plays Doctor Luka Kovac on NBC’s long running medical series “ER,” is one of the reasons I still tune in each week. I remember reading that he and his wife of 8 years, artist Ivana Vrdoljak, had just adopted a little boy they named Tin. Now it appears as if Visnjic may have another child.

A Croatian woman says that Visnjic is the father of her four-month-old daughter and is suing him. She says the actor knew about her pregnancy from the very beginning. He promised to support the child, but not publicly recognize her as his child. Apparently, that wasn’t enough, so the mother has decided to take legal action. Representatives for Visnjic have not made any comments about the suit, but if he denies paternity, she can request through the courts that he take a paternity test. Hum, does that sound familiar, Eddie Murphy?

Britney’s Strange Apology

You know, it almost seems as if Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan are trying to outdo each other in the obnoxious celebrity category. You have probably been keeping up with all the Paris Prison blogs Michele has been writing and thankfully, Lindsay has been laying pretty low since entering rehab.

Not to be forgotten, Britney now offers her version as to why she attacked a paparazzo with an umbrella earlier this year. If you remember, it happened after she left Kevin’s house in February, right after she shaved her head and before she entered rehab. Now she says she was just rehearsing for a movie role. I swear to you, I couldn’t not make this stuff up. Britney said that she was preparing for a role where a wife swaps places with her husband and got carried away with her role. And yet somehow, despite being so into this “role,” she did not get the part. She made this confession through a written letter to the gossip website X17 Online.

I have always loved to write and Families.com gives me the opportunity to share my passion for writing with others. I work full-time as a web developer at UTHSC and most of my other time is spent with my son (born 2004). I love everything pop culture, but also enjoy writing about green living (it has opened my eyes to many things!) and health (got to worry about that as you get older!).
