Forget about Paris (at least for this blog)—let’s talk about what’s going on in the altered universe of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. Yes, they are divorced, but they also share custody of their two young sons, so it’s not likely that we will ever be able to refer to one without mentioning the other. That said I wonder how the ex-Mrs. Federline is reacting to the news that K-Fed is preparing to be a dad—for the FIFTH time.
Pick your jaw off the floor… there’s more. According to the New York Post, Federline’s on-again-off-again flame and mother of his first and second born children, Shar Jackson, is 7-weeks pregnant with another of Federline’s spawns. Think that’s shocking? Consider the fact that according to the paper, Federline has no clue he is about to be a father for the fifth time. (Perhaps, Jackson was saving the surprise and planned to reveal it on Father’s Day?) Star Magazine is also reporting that Jackson opened up to one of its reporters and hinted that the new baby would hopefully “bring them back together as a family.”
Speaking of dysfunctional families, MSNBC is running a story about a growing feud between Britney Spears and her mother Lynn that refutes a new US magazine article that says mother and daughter are still chummy.
According to MSNBC, the relationship between Brit and her mom is more than “Toxic.” The rift reportedly started when Brit’s mom dropped her off at rehab earlier this year. That’s when the former Mouseketeer reportedly told her mom: “Say goodbye, mama, because this is the last time you’ll ever speak to me.”
Apparently, rehab did nothing to help Britney heal old wounds because now, according to major publications, the only time that Lynne Spears sees her grandchildren is when Kevin Federline brings them to see her. A source close to Britney says the singer is “paranoid that her mom and Kevin are working to take the kids away from her.”
The fact that Lynn consistently sides with K-Fed on issues of custody has reportedly prompted Britney to contact a lawyer to cut her mother out of her will. OUCH! And you thought you had problems with your mother and ex…
