Regardless of what you may think about her famous (or in her father’s case—infamous) parents, you have to admit 1-year-old Suri Cruise is one heck of a cute kid. And she may soon have another adorable younger sibling to share the media spotlight with.
According to TV’s “Entertainment Tonight,” Katie Holmes says she is ready to have more children.
In an interview scheduled to air Monday, the 28-year-old actress says she is “definitely” ready to have more kids. Apparently, being the mother of Tom Cruise’s baby daughter has been so much fun that she can’t wait to get pregnant again.
“We’re having the best time, it’s so amazing,” Holmes said of the year she and Cruise have spent parenting their first child together.
Holmes also tells “ET” that the role of stepmother (to Cruise’s 12-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter) is one she relishes.
“The kids are so sweet, they’re so great with Suri and she lights up when she sees them,” she said. “We have so many kids in our house, there’s always this wonderful chatter and the great noise of kids.”
Speaking of noise, if you’ve read my previous blogs, you know Holmes has been causing tongues to wag on the set of her new movie “Mad Money” being shot in Louisiana. Well, now it seems the actress’s generosity is rubbing off on others.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the owners of a local Shreveport children’s shop recently gifted little Suri Cruise with a personalized pink picture frame decorated with a princess, butterflies – and the tot’s name across the bottom.
And get this—apparently, not only is the youngest Cruise simply adorable, but she’s super sweet as well. According to the shop owners, a couple of days after mother and daughter Cruise visited the boutique where they were presented with the frame, they received a thank you note from the 1-year-old (with help from her mom) on her very own cream-colored embossed stationary.
The note read in part: “Thank you so much for the beautiful frame for Suri. It is so sweet and reminds us of our wonderful visit to your store and our time in Shreveport.”
Hmm… well dressed and well mannered. Who knew?
