Keeping Safe on the Bike Trail

When I was growing up my family used to go on bike rides together. It was always so much fun to ride even around the neighborhood on a summer evening. Such fond memories cannot be kept hidden away but shared and relived with the next generation. So, I have brought the fun and hopefully future memories to cherish to my family. With a family of children with such vast age differences finding a family activity can be a challenge. However, bicycling is one activity we all can enjoy despite age differences.

I have discovered a way to make this family activity safer for all involved. I would love to tell you about Bike Glow. Bike Blow is a unique product that makes it easy to be seen at night or early evening by cars. I find this important because most families spend more time together in evening hours than day hours due to work. When it is time to gather the bikes and go for an evening ride it can be dangerous even with a few reflectors. As a mom, I am concerned for the safety of my children tagging along even if they are old enough to ride in the street. Moms are inherently concerned with the welfare of their family no matter how old her children get. Bike Glow will get your bike and your family’s bike seen by cars on the road.

Bike Glow is a safety light powered by simple AA batteries. The light wraps around your bike frame so you get full coverage. Bike Glow is waterproof and has three lighting modes: steady, slow flash and fast flash. My girls love the pink light but you can also get it in green, blue, white, yellow, aqua, red and purple. You can have your own glowing rainbow family as you ride down the street. Believe me, no one can miss you. You will be safe from oncoming traffic, traffic behind and to the side of you.

Stay active and stay safe.
