There tend to be a lot of deals and sales that pop up right around Labor Day weekend. I think it is because this is when many people will have an extra day off of work. Retailers want to take advantage of the potential to get some extra traffic into their stores. Here are some random deals that are going on this weekend.
Kohl’s is having their “Biggest Gold Star Clearance” sale. Items in their clearance section are 60% to 80% off the original price. I think this sale lasts until they run out of clearance items.
Kohl’s is having a “Labor Day Weekend Sale”. This sale is going on now, and will end on Saturday, August 1, 2012. Their selection of colored denim is part of this sale. Select kitchen electrics are 10% to 33% off. Select comforter collections are 40% to 50% off.
Kohl’s is doing a “Committed to the Cause” sale. There is a special collection of items by ELLE that you can only purchase online at Kohls.com or in Kohl’s stores located in Wisconsin. Each item is either $5.00 or $10.00. 100% of the net profit will be donated to support the fight against breast cancer.
Starbucks is doing a “12 Star Dash”. To take advantage of this deal, you need to register a Starbucks Card. (You can do that for free). Earn 12 stars between now and September 9, 2012, and Starbucks will send you a $5.00 Starbucks gift card. The stars you earn as part of this deal are included as stars earned for regular rewards, too.
Amazon.com has Levi’s on sale for men, women, and kids. Save up to 50% off Levi’s denim, tops, and more. Use the Promo Code NEWBTS20 at checkout for a 20% discount on eligible items sold by Amazon.com. They are calling this deal “Take 20% off New School Clothes”.
Michaels wants you to “Save Big This Labor Day Weekend”. The prices listed in their weekly add are valid from August 31, 2012 through September 3, 2012. Their Home and Portrait Collection of frames is “Buy One, Get One Free” this weekend. Naturally, this means you must buy one at regular price, and you will get the second one of equal or lesser value for free.
Target is offering free shipping on select items from now through September 1, 2012. They have a “Buy One, Get One 50% off” sale on select men’s, women’s, and kids’ boots that will continue through September 8, 2012.
Target is having their “Biggest Baby Sale of the Year”. You can shop it online right now through September 1, 2012. Or, you can shop it both online and in the store from September 2, 2012 through September 8, 2012. If you purchase a Simmons crib, you get it on sale, and you get a free mattress with it.
