Las Vegas Weddings – A Real Playground for Adults

I talked about some Las Vegas destination wedding ideas a while back and I wanted to throw out a few more ideas that have come across my desk. The following are great locations for your destination wedding and they are all available in Las Vegas.

  • Yacht Weddings – A yacht wedding is great for those medium sized wedding parties with close friends and family in attendance. You can lease or rent 60-foot private yachts and host the wedding as it floats around Lake Las Vegas.
  • Gondola Weddings – You don’t need to go all the way to Venice, Italy to have a Gondola wedding. The Venetian in Las Vegas offers gondola weddings on the canal at the Venice themed hotel.
  • Stratosphere Roller Coaster – My five year old is very enthusiastic about this wedding setting – she’s in love with roller coasters! Imagine for those adventurous in spirit saying ‘I do’ on a roller coaster at the top of the 1100-foot tower. For those of us who are disoriented by heights – this is probably not a good idea.
  • Old West Wedding – Bonnie Springs Old Nevada is a replica of a 1880s Old West mining town. It is located in the Red Rock Canyon area and the town even boasts it’s own chapel that is open for weddings.

Getting married in Las Vegas offers you a lot of opportunities to explore from the casual to the themed to the just this side of crazy and adventurous. What would your ideal destination wedding be?
