Last Days to “Think Pink”

We are in the home stretch… October is almost over. That means you have just a few more days to take advantage of the pink product sales underway to benefit breast cancer awareness.

From belts to flowers, lipstick to nail polish it’s so easy to add a touch of pink to your home. And with the holidays just around the corner think about how well received the following rosy items will be by the ladies in your life.

FLOWERS. Every month from now through next August Teleflora, the world’s leading floral service, is offering a unique pink bouquet of flowers adorned with a pink ribbon. For each of the designated pink bouquets sold Teleflora will donate 20% of the purchase price to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a commitment of raising a minimum of $100,000. Check out the bouquets here.

BELTS. Inspired by her own mother’s brave fight against chronic breast cancer, fashion designer Kristin Kahle created a pink patent leather belt to benefit breast cancer awareness. As a tribute to her mom, Kahle is donating 50% of proceeds from her reversible belt to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. Kahle’s designs are often seen on the red carpet on stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Tyra Banks and Mary J. Blige.

JEWELRY. Jewelry designer Dyanne Belle has created a one-of-a-kind necklace to support breast cancer victims. Belle’s “Necklace of Hope” features a sterling silver circle hope charm, 14k rose gold key charm and 14k yellow gold butterfly charm on a silver chain. All the proceeds from the $120 necklace go to Share, a not-for-profit organization that offers support to women with breast cancer. You can view the necklace by clicking here.

MAKE UP. Now there’s a way to think pink while wearing pink–on your nails. Dashing Diva has come out with an entire collection of pink nail polishes called “Think Pink.” The shades range from a soft pink for everyday wear to a bold fuchsia for a night out on the town. Fifty percent of the profits from the “Think Pink” line will go to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.

Clinique is also lending a hand in the war against breast cancer. The company is currently offering a pink Breast Cancer Awareness kit exclusively available at Sephora. For $30 you get a Fresh Bloom Allover Colour compact in “Peony,” paired with a tube of their Full Potential lip plumper in “Play-full.” Clinique plans to donate $10 from each set to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
