If you have a family on your Christmas list who are homeschoolers and don’t know what to purchase them, this list will help:
Case of Printer Paper: Homeschoolers go through a great deal of printer paper as they research things online, and print them for future reference. A case of printer paper will go a long way in making their life easier. A case of paper can cost from $20.00 to $45.00.
Case of notebooks: Homeschoolers use notebooks for journals, handwriting, and to study certain subjects. You can purchase one subject notebooks for $1.00 each.
Box of art supplies: Go the hobby store and fill a shoesbox (covered in wrapping paper) with art supplies. They will be delighted. The supplies you choose will dictate the overall price.
Printer Ink: Just as we go through a great deal of printer paper, we also go through a great deal of ink. If you know what kind of printer a the homeschooling family has, you can purchase ink refills for them.
Bookstore gift card: Homeschoolers buy a lot of books. A gift card to your local bookstore or Amazon.com will go a long way.
Collection of classic books: You can add to their home library by purchasing a collection of classic books from your local thrift store. Look for leather bound books by Mark Twain, Shakespeare, and the like. Make sure they are clean and attractive looking.
Bucket of pencils/pens: You can never go wrong with more school supplies. Purchase an attractive tin bucket, or covert a coffee into an attractive container can and fill it with pencils, pens, and/or markers.
Website subscriptions: There are a few website subscriptions that homeschooling families will find quite useful. They are Brainpop.com, PBS Kidsplay, Quiz Hub, explorelearning, and more.
