Layouts with Love

left

With Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away, now is the time to start planning lovey-dovey page designs. Regardless of whom you select as your sweetheart this Love Day, your holiday layout should feature more than just a few photos and some paper hearts.

An easy way to spice up your Valentine’s Day spread is to express your true love for your sweetheart with well-chosen words. If you don’t have a spouse, then turn your attention to your parents, children, siblings, or anyone who has touched your heart.

If you struggle to express your feelings on paper, then turn to the Internet, books, or music for inspiration. You don’t have to go overboard with romantic prose; rather, choose poems or quotes that will speak to the relationship you share with your loved one and also complement your photos and embellishments.

Some scrapbook-worthy love poems to consider for your Valentine’s Day layouts include:

For Mom

God made a wonderful mother,

A mother who never grows old;

He made her smile of the sunshine,

And He molded her heart of pure gold;

In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,

In her cheeks fair roses you see;

God made a wonderful mother,

And He gave that dear mother to me.

Forever Valentine Mom

Valentine’s Day is a day of love,

So Mom, I want to say

That no one gives more love than you;

You brighten every day.

You deserve my undying love;

You earned it from the start,

So on Valentine’s Day I give to you

A forever place in my heart.

For My Precious Wife

This Valentine is for you, my precious wife,

Because you’re the adorable love of my life.

Your many fine qualities deserve praise to the skies,

For you are cute, sweet, kind, caring and wise.

It’s hard to recount all the good times with you;

There are so many wonderful things that you do,

That the pleasures just mingle, and tingle my soul,

So that loving you better is always my goal.

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect life

Than the one I am living with you as my wife.

All the good things I could ever desire,

I find in you, partner; you light my fire!

I am so very blessed to have you in my life as my wife.

Will you be my Valentine forever?
