We’ve had another great week here in LDS. If you weren’t able to join us each day, here’s a summary so you can catch up on what you missed.
We started the week with “Teaching Our Children to Sustain the Prophet.” The best way for us to go about this is by setting them a positive example and making sure that the words we speak about our leaders are supportive.
In “Is Your Calling Stretching You Too Thin?” we discuss how we can sometimes be pulled in so many different directions between our family responsibilities and our church callings, we feel as though we aren’t giving our best.
“Primary Time: Creating a Loving Atmosphere” reminds us that a child’s first experience with church is in Primary, and if we make Primary a comforting place for them to be, the children will carry those positive experiences with them into their perceptions about religion later in life.
Experiencing a mighty change of heart is a miracle, but it’s not lasting unless we make it so. “Maintaining a Mighty Change of Heart” tells us that unless our actions follow our new beliefs and we turn away from old behaviors, we can slip back into the rut we were in before.
It’s nearing time for Girls’ Camp – are you ready? And have you marked the dates for General Conference on your calendar yet? Don’t forget to check out this week’s Scripture Study, too.
“Out of Small Things” is a report on a talk about the importance of bearing one another’s burdens, and how we are truly our brothers’ keepers.
“Counting Blessings” is a new nonfiction release by popular LDS author Kerry Blair. She talks about dealing with her MS and finding joy in the simplest places.
We continued our Senior Missionary series with “How Will You Know if You Should Serve,” and we wrapped up the week with “Today is the Time,” a report on a conference address which speaks to us about the importance of getting ourselves prepared and not putting it off for another day.
We hope you enjoyed this week in LDS.
