Lemon Meringue Pie
If you are a lemon fan, there is nothing better than a homemade lemon meringue pie.
INGREDIENTS:
1 whole 9-inch baked pastry shell
3 large eggs, separated
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/3 cup sugar
2 drops yellow food coloring
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. In mixing bowl, beat egg yolks.
3. Add sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice and coloring. Pour into crust.
4. In mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff. 5. Spread on pie; seal to edge. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool, then chill.

Cook: 12 minutes
