In case you haven’t heard, the relationship between Lindsay Lohan and DJ galpal Samantha Ronson is off again and this time, it may be for real. The two broke up last weekend, with Ronson hiring five security guards to keep Lohan out of a party Friday night at the Chateau Marmont for “I Heart Ronson, the new clothing line of sister Charlotte Ronson. It was also reported that Ronson changed the locks on the doors of the Hollywood Hills home she had shared with Lohan.
Monday, a Beverly Hills police representative told a reporter from PEOPLE magazine that the Ronson family came into the office about 5 p.m. to request information about obtaining a restraining order. Ronson has denied seeking a restraining order, with her attorney David Bass saying there “is no basis for one.”
Lohan told Us magazine that the breakup was “absolute hell,” but there is at least one person happy about it – her father. Michael Lohan told ABC News “Well, thank God. I think it’s a healthy decision that she take a break and relax and pursue her own career and her own goals. What they had was very toxic. It had become very toxic. Lindsay doesn’t need to keep following Samantha around. She needs to sit down with her parents. She needs the support of both of us to help her along. Lindsay’s an emotional person. I want her to get on with her life in the right direction and a healthy way.” Her life now certainly seems a far stretch from that red headed little Disney girl that had such a promising movie career.
In happier celebrity relationship news, it seems that Pink and Carey Hart may be getting back together. Hart told PEOPLE magazine that the couple was “rebuilding” their relationship and that “sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward.”
The pair married in Costa Rica in January 2006, but divorced in February 2008. However, it seems like since the divorce, we see the two constantly together, including ringing in the New Year together.
