Looking For My Waist: Weekend Cheating

I am having an easy time on this new eating plan. Every other day dieting seems to keep my metabolism higher than restricting myself every other day. On my diet days, I eat oatmeal or special K cereal for breakfast, fruit and a little cheese for snacks. I make a pot of soup or chili and eat that for lunch and dinner. On my off days, I eat “normal”. This means making sure I eat a good breakfast, a decent but healthy lunch, and I try to eat a lighter dinner with a little dessert. During the week, these days are actually harder than diet days. I generally forget to eat until I am ravenous. Whatever I craved the day before, is what I eat on these days, in moderation. It works well… until the weekend.

The weekend for me consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This week I had to behave on Friday and Sunday. I did not make it. I could blame it on the fact that the men where out of town and my daughter and I were having a girls weekend, which meant lots of chocolate was on hand. But truthfully, I put the foods in my mouth, not my daughter.

Because of the weekend cheat, I sabotaged an otherwise successful week. My weight dropped during the week and by the time the weekend was over, it was right back where it started. I cannot let that happen again. Anybody got ideas?

My weight is the same as last week: Here are my stats:

Here are my stats this week Bust: 45, waist: 42, Hips 51, Thighs 42, single arm 13 ( my hips went back up 2 inches this week, but I last two inches on my arm and waist)… interesting.

Here are my original stats: Dec 20, 2006: 250 lbs bust: 50, waist: 46, hips: 53, Thighs: 47, single arm: 15
