For many people sticking to a diet is tremendously difficult. Does this sound like you? If this is a familiar scenario in your life a way to conquer this dilemma is by eating your meals prepackaged with the calories already counted out for you. The portions are just right. The calorie count is low. The only thing that is not good about those prepackaged meals is that they are high in sodium content.
If you want a reasonably appetizing meal, but are on a diet you could try one of the many prepackaged meals, such as Healthy Choice, Weight Watchers, Lean Cuisine, or Michelina’s Lean Gourmet. Even though the sodium content is high, which is not good, the good thing about them is that there is no preparation involved. When do the majority of us do our snacking? If you are like most women it is when you are involved in preparing a big meal for the family. A little taste of this, a little taste of that. You understand, I am sure. By the time that the dinner is ready to serve you have already eaten a portion of your dinner allotment just on trying things out along the way while cooking. For this, I cannot help you. When you are preparing a meal just for yourself you could try one of these portion controlled meals instead of cooking. There is no preparation time, which means being in the kitchen for as long as it takes to microwave your meal. This is approximately 4-1/2 minutes.
The one thing that bothers me when I am dieting is lingering around the kitchen. This only spells trouble. Get your food and get out of there. I have tried all of these dinners and you know, they are not that bad. The choice is quite varied. The largest portions come from Healthy Choice. The most economically priced frozen entrees are Michelina’s Lean Gourmet. For the most part, this is not a bad idea. In fact, this is how I lost most of my weight about 3 years ago. This, combined with excessive exercise, but that is another topic altogether. If you have difficulty losing weight try this type of a diet for about 3 days and see what happens. I am willing to bet that you will lose weight.
