Does this sound familiar—you’re dieting or watching your figure or trying to keep yourself fit. You’ve done well all week but suddenly, your sweet tooth strikes with a vengeance! What are you going to do? Dive into a Chocolate Cream Pie? Eat a package of Oreos? NO! But trying to eat better doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor or your inner cravings.
Here’s a recipe that has all the yumminess of a traditional s’more. Try it. You won’t miss the chocolate—scouts honor. I owe total credit for this recipe to Robin Peterson. She made this while visiting my house when we were both pregnant with our first babies. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Chances are you will be too. Thanks, Robin!
For this recipe you’ll need:
2 full graham cracker sheets
1 Tablespoon Reduced Fat Smooth Peanut Butter (ex. Reduced Fat Skippy)
2 large marshmallows
To make this tasty treat:
On one graham cracker sheet, carefully spread the peanut butter. Add the two marshmallows (place next to one another) and microwave for 9 seconds on full power. Top immediately with second graham cracker sheet and devour!!!
This makes one large treat. If you haven’t saved up your calories for this tasty treat, you can still enjoy it. Just cut the recipe in half. Use one graham cracker sheet, carefully divided into two. Use only ½ Tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 marshmallow. Reduce microwave time to 7 seconds or so.
