Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics: 6/26/10 and 7/10/10

Wooden Monster Truck
Lowe’s is offering a free building clinic for your children. On 6/26/10, Saturday, the kids will be making a wooden monster truck.

Wooden Ball and Cup Game
Lowe’s is offering a free clinic for your children on Saturday, 7/10/10 at 10 a.m. The kids will be making a ball and cup game out of wood.

These events will take place at your local Lowe’s at 10 a.m. The first 50 children to register at 10 a.m. will receive a kit, an apron, goggles, a patch of their project theme and a certificate stating their accomplishment. A waiver form must be filled out by the parent in order for their child to participate in this activity. These Build and Grow Clinics are geared for children in grades 1 through 5.

These clinics not only help to keep your children busy in a productive way, but help them to gain confidence in their abilities. Imagine how your child will feel after accomplishing such a “grown-up” task. The monster truck and ball and cup game are also suitable to play with after these projects are completed.

This is a great activity for Dad to take your child to as well. He will get the honors of participating in an activity with your child in “his” territory. He will get one-on-one time with your child in this activity. He will get some “teaching” moments as well. It will be a wonderful experience for them to do together.

Moms can come too if they would like. Who says that Dad gets to have all of the fun?

Bring your children to your local Lowe’s on either of these dates to make the Wooden Monster Truck or the Wooden Ball and Cup Game. For more information, sign up and fill out the waiver form visit https://www.lowesbuildandgrow.com/.

I am a mom to my precious one and only, a nurse in a heartwarming adult living facility, and a freelance writer. I am "Angel" to the one who has helped me through life for the past 2-1/2 years and has made a joyful difference. I am a featured contributing writer for Rich Women Sisterhood, A Distinctive Style magazine and a writing and health advisor on Just Answer. As well, I write greeting cards, articles in health, relationships, diet, fitness, parenting, and travel. I reside in Upstate, NY and enjoy spending time with my loved ones, writing, the outdoors, and fitness. What I would like to say to others is.......Slow down and enjoy the moment, as you cannot get it back. Dream, believe, hope, but most of all have faith. Be careful with your words...they have the potential to hurt or bring forth joy. Remember, gentleness is a comfort to a wounded heart. Wishing you all many blessings. ~Angel Lynn~
