Madonna’s Vindictive Brother Turns Anger into $$$

Let this be a lesson to other celebs who have estranged siblings.

The entertainment world is abuzz today with the news that Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone is about to drop some major bombshells in his new tell-all about growing up with the Material Girl.

Ciccone, who reportedly had a falling-out with the pop icon several years ago, is writing a memoir about his sister, to be released in mid-July. According to reports, “Life With My Sister Madonna” will have a massive first printing of 350,000.

While financial details were not disclosed you can bet that Ciccone is going to be seeing quite a bit of green come mid-August when his sister turns the big 5-0.

Kind of makes you wonder how much he would have gotten from Madonna if he had promised NOT to spill his guts.

So what can readers expect from the highly anticipated expose?

According to the book’s publisher, “Ciccone’s extraordinary memoir is based on his life and 47 years of growing up with and working with his sister – the most famous woman in the world.”

Translation: Every juicy detail that he could possible regurgitate will be in the pages of that book.

One source close to the project told a New York newspaper that the memoir is “extremely graphic and devastating.”

The source goes on to say that Ciccone wrote the book “on the sly without telling Madonna and now publishers want to put it out before her lawyers can get a hold of it.”

Another source echoed the comment saying, “We’d heard rumors, but didn’t realize he’d actually written it. He was there through the crazy years and has many stories to tell, I’m sure. He’s seen it all. Oh, my.”

Oh brother!

Madonna’s 47-year-old brother worked closely with his older sister, designing and directing her “Girlie Show” tour in 1993 and serving as artistic director of her 1991 documentary, “Madonna: Truth or Dare.” But according to the singer’s spokeswoman, “they are no longer close.”

Ciccone, who is a gay designer/chef, was once described as “a solid raft for Madonna in the shark-infested waters.” The singer turned actress reportedly dumped her brother after she married her now husband Guy Ritchie. A source close to Madonna says Ritchie was “uncomfortable around queens” and the singer chose her hubby over her bro.
