Make the Bed
Now that it is getting colder, your dog or cat might like a super snuggly place to lie down. You can easily make a comfy bed that will be perfect. Purchase two towels that are large enough for your pet to lie on, from hand towels, to bath towels, to large bath sheets. Pick out thick, soft ones in a color that matches the area where the bed will be placed. Glue three edges closed with fabric glue or Mom, Dad, or an older sibling can sew the edges closed. Stuff the towels with fiberfill or cedar chips and close the remaining edge (don’t stuff too full).
Advent for Pets
Make a wreath from a wire coat hanger. A grown up can form the body of the hanger into the shape of a circle, and you can use the hanger part to hang it up. Wrap the wire with ribbon or strips of fabric. Tie them in place instead of using glue since you will be adding treats. Tie dog biscuits or other pet treats around the wreath, and give your pet one every day until Christmas arrives!
