Here is the information that Linda, the Director of Andrews School gave on the support given to students who have graduated:
Placement: While we cannot guarantee placement, we feel comfortable making one promise. We will work with each student as long as it takes to find appropriate placement as a medical transcriptionist if the student works with us toward that goal. Our students usually receive an average of three to four job offers. Many recruiters encourage our graduates to apply, even though they advertise for applicants with 2-3 years of experience. Our graduates have done well, and we have an excellent track record with
employers.
Employment Tests: Our students do well on tests since ours are very much like the ones employers use.
Work From Home: Most graduates work from home for one of the national medical transcription companies. It doesn’t matter where the student lives. Employers like the fact that Andrew’s students study from home and are already able to work independently.
That’s it for Andrews School! Thanks to Linda for her time, and good luck to everyone in making this choice!
