Melissa and Doug: Camp Sunny Patch

I love Melissa and Doug products. I have owned several throughout the years and I always remark on the quality and durability of the toys. I love their sense of creativity and ability to unleash a child’s imagination. From stickers to their famous wooden toys, Melissa and Dough always get an A+ in my book. So, I was excited to hear about Camp Sunny Patch!

What is Camp Sunny Patch?

Camp Sunny Patch is a virtual summer camp that provides child with interesting and entertaining activities throughout the season.

All season long, our blog will feature exciting original play ideas to help you add a little bit of structure and a whole lot of fun to summer vacation. Each weekly camp activity, written by our favorite bloggers, features a creative new way to get your kids moving their bodies and using their imaginations in the great outdoors . . . and you never have to leave your own backyard!

Just tune into the Melissa and Doug blog to chase the summer blues away! The bloggers who have made this virtual summer camp possible have worked hard and uses all their creative juices just for you and your child. Many are bloggers you are already familiar with like Amy Mascott from Teach Mama.

Camp Sunny Patch started the beginning of June but it is never too late to join in! The camps are weekly and at the end your child gets a badge for completion. You taught all year, why not allow Camp Sunny Patch to entertain and educated for a few months. It is always nice to go through a program with your children where you are not the one in charge. It takes the pressure off and you can relax and have just as much fun as the kids.
