Merry Christmas, Home Based Professionals

Merry Christmas, fellow home based professionals. I have the perfect gift to give all of you today. I am giving you the gift of the day off. Of course, if you do not celebrate Christmas or you are Santa you may not be able to take this day off. So, take tomorrow off. But for those home based professionals who have the Christmas goose cooking in the oven, stockings hung by the chimney with care, sugar plums dancing in their heads, and small children with begging eyes waiting to open gifts, take the day off.

It is hard for a home business person to take any time off. I understand. You may be thinking that I am working today or you wouldn’t be reading this. Well, my friends, I am not working today. I simply arranged this post in advance to wish you all a Merry Christmas and hopefully urge you off the computer and onto your life. We all need a break so use today as your day off. If you take one day off then take today off. Why? Because if you are one who celebrates Christmas then you are missing family and friends and a day of festive celebration. In addition today is Sunday, one more reason to take the day off to enjoy your families.

Tomorrow is Monday, and then you can plan out your goals for the New Year or wrap up this year. Unless you are like me and will gift myself with another day off. That is if you call cleaning up and recovering a day off. Yet, I know that if I do not take Monday off I will burn out quickly. I have been going a million miles an hour working and preparing for Christmas as most of you have. Let’s not start out the New Year exhausted and burned out. Let’s start it ready to take on new challenges and new goals.
