The family of Michael Jackson has been in the news lately. There are plenty of news articles speculating what the future of his three children will be like. Many news articles have been about the trial of Michael’s doctor, Conrad Murray. I thought it would be interesting to take a look at Michael Jackson’s family tree, since he is still very much in the public eye.
Michael Jackson’s mother is Katherine Esther Jackson, and his father is Joseph “Joe” Walter. Katherine and Joe had a total of ten children. Maureen Reillette Jackson, “Rebbie” was born in 1950. Sigmund Esco Jackson, “Jackie”, was born in 1951. Toriano Adaryll Jackson, “Tito”, was born in 1953. Jermaine La Juane Jackson was born on 1954. La Toya Yvonne Jackson was born in 1956. Marlon David Jackson was born in 1957.
Katherine and Joe had a son named Brandon Jackson, who was born in 1957. Unfortunately, he died shortly after he was born. Michael Joseph Jackson was born in 1958, (and died in 2009). Steven Randall Jackson, “Randy” was born in 1961. Janet Damita Jo Jackson was born in 1966.
At the time of his death, Michael had several nieces and nephews. His brother Tito is the father of three sons: Toriano Adaryll Jackson II, (born in 1973), Taryll Adren Jackson, (born in 1975), and Tito Joseph Jackson “TJ”, (born in 1978).
His brother Jermaine is the father of Jermaine La Jaune Jackson Jr. “Jay”, (born in 1977), Autumn Joy Jackson, (born in 1978), Jaimy Jackson (born in 1987), Jeremy Maldonado Jackson, (born in 1986), and Jourdynn Michael Jackson, (born in 1989). Randy Jackson has a daughter named Genevieve Jackson, who was born in 1989, and a daughter named Stevanna Jackson, who was born in 1990.
Michael’s brother Marlon has three children: Valencia Sophia Jackson, (born in 1976), Brittany Jackson, (born in 1978), and Marlon David, Jr. Jackson, (born in 1981). Valencia has two children of her own, now. Noah Laniak was born in 2006, and Sophia Laniak was born in 2007. These two kids are the great-niece and great-nephew of Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994. The couple did not have any children together, and became divorced less than two years after getting married. In 1996, Michael married Deborah Jeanne Rowe.
Michael and “Debbie” had two children together. Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (known as “Prince”), was born in 1997. Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson was born in 1988. Michael and Debbie got divorced in 1999, and Michael got custody of their two children.
Michael had a third child. Prince Michael Jackson II (known as “Blanket”), was born in 2002. The mother of “Blanket” is unknown. It has been said that “Blanket” was born from an artificial insemination from a surrogate mother, and the sperm donated by Michael Jackson. This makes “Blanket” the half-brother of “Prince” and Paris. It also means that Michael’s three children have a lot of cousins.
