And don’t I wish I could be there! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is a really one-of-a-kind Halloween party that you can only find at the Magic Kingdom and according to their press releases; it’s going to be bigger than the previous ones. Since we attended the Not-So-Scary Halloween party last October, I can tell you what a fantastic treat it really is.
There are three things to keep in mind about the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, it takes place after regular park operating hours, it’s loads of fun whether you’re 7 or 70 and you can dress up in a costume or not – it’s your choice!
There are multiple dates planned over the next six weeks and I’ll list those for you at the bottom of the blog. During each of these special evening party events, there will be a Halloween-themed fireworks show called Happy HalloWishes instead of their normal fireworks spectacular.
There’s also a really fun Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween parade and the music is really catchy and I wish we’d picked up the CD while we were there. All the rides will still be open, there is still trick or treating and you can purchase tickets in advance by talking to the resort you are staying at or calling 407-W-DISNEY.
If you are planning to visit Disney World at all during the next six weeks, do your absolute best to spend the little extra and visit the Not-So-Scary Halloween party. Take your kids and let them dress up, you can even get in on the act and just immerse yourself in the fantasy fun to be had at the happiest scary party on Earth.
Dates for the event include the following (The park will be open from 7 p.m. to Midnight) and the Resort Buses will be running for the event as well: Sept. 15, 22, 29 and Oct. 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30 and 31.
