MoonFruit for Your Business

Recently, my business partner and friend developed a new site using MoonFruit. I have no experience with MoonFruit. However, after seeing what she was developing I grew curious. The site looked quite professional and it was free. Now that is a great way to start a business or blog. My intrigue led me to check it out in further detail. The more I looked into it the more I liked it. I think it is a great option for those just starting an online business.

MoonFruit is based in London, England. It is the number one hosted site builder in England and continues to grow around the world. It is also gaining popularity in the United States.

MoonFruit is not simply a blog hosting site like WordPress and Blogger. MoonFruit is set up to support small businesses. If you are seeking a site that already has a built in store, then MoonFruit is your site. As you build your store you can build a store on Facebook in seconds! That is a great option, since Facebook is one of the best ways to advertise a business.

While MoonFruit is highly customizable, you will find a wide variety of templates to start off with. The templates are creative, colorful, whimsical, elegant, and everything in between. You are certain to find the right one to suit your business. I found plenty I liked and had a hard time choosing the right one. I set up a mock site just to see how easy it was to navigate. I found it to be easy to figure out but it will take a bit of time to get used to. However, that is with every new thing. You do not need to know HTML or CSS to create to customize your template of choice. Overall, this is definitely a real option for small businesses. However, if you go beyond 20 MB, you will have to upgrade your account and fork over some cash.
