My husband, Paul, is a musician. No, he doesn’t do it for a living. As a matter of fact, he gives away the majority of his music. It’s his passion. And it’s expensive. So whenever we find music deals, I’m very happy! Right now, Musician’s Friend is offering free gifts with purchase. Sometimes, “free gifts” are really cheap. A free guitar pick, for example. Fortunately, Musician’s Friend is going much higher-end!
Buy a Kay Chicago Blues Harmonica, get a free Monitor Stand. The harmonica’s are on clearance for less than $3. The monitor stand retails for $79.95, but is really available for about half of that. What a deal! The free gift is worth about 15x the purchased item. Shipping is decent. For this particular combination, it’s only $5.95 to my zip code. Order $99 worth of stuff, and it’s free.
Buy Dean Markley Blue Steel Acoustic Guitar Strings and get free AKG44 headphones. The strings are all of $6.99. The headphones list at $44. I don’t really need the guitar strings, but the headphones are worth their retail price.
We’ve been wanting to get David a guitar for Christmas, and they’re on sale, too. We’ll probably spend the same amount we would have, but I see the Dreadnought Acoustic for only $300 – with the hardcase as the free gift. I’d be hard-pressed to find the guitar and case anywhere for less than $450 or $500.
A lot of the free gifts retail for more than the purchases, so I expect these will sell out quickly to resellers. It’s a deal you should get in on quickly. Think Christmas, birthdays, graduations, other special occasions, or your gift closet.
On top of the good deals, every time you order, you’re entered into their current sweepstakes. The current contest is tickets to Sammy Hagar’s birthday bash. Even though I can’t drive 55 either, he’s not really my cup of tea. Still, I wouldn’t mind winning and reselling them on auction.
