I am noted for always being prepared. If you need a band aid, tissue, baby wipe, pen, snack, Tylenol, first aid cream, or a thingamabob, look no further than my diaper bag or purse. I always carried a diaper bag so heavy it could double as workout gear. It never let me down as I moved along happily with kids, toddlers and baby in tow ready to address any snack emergency or car sick incident. I always recommend to any new mom that she needs a well stocked diaper bag. Keeping that in mind I just came across a new item perfect for diaper bags; Nourish.
What is Nourish?
Nourish is a handy little item that my toddler enjoys. Being a mom who does not allow my children to drink juice all day long, I longed for a baby and or toddler friendly water bottle. I also want to encourage my little ones to drink plenty of water. I have found that if a little one has his own special sippy cup he is more likely to enjoy water. Nourish to the rescue! Nourish is a convenient bottle or sippy cup filled with fresh spring water ready to be enjoyed. Throw a few in the diaper bag on long journeys and never worry about filling up your bottle or sippy cup in public restrooms again. Of course you can fill up your own bottles or sippy cups with spring water for the road. When I first tried Nourish I wondered why I would ever use this as opposed to just bringing my own water. Yet, my toddler LOVES her Nourish sippy cup and will drink water happily out of it. For long trips the water is already in a spill proof cup making handing it over to a thirsty toddler easy. I normally fill sippy cups with juice or milk so it is also nice not having to rinse it out to give my child water. Besides, since sippy cups normally contain juice my toddler seems very disappointed when water is in her sippy cup. I have had to give her different types of cups or water bottles to encourage drinking water. However, those alternative cups and water bottles are not travel friendly. So now no more giving juice on the road just to keep her happy as I can give her water and still get the same smiles. If you want to encourage drinking water or need the convenience of a spill proof spring water bottle for your little one then I recommend throwing a few in your diaper bag. It may not be something you need everyday but when you need it you need it.
