My New Favorite Low Fat Indulgence

“”All our frozen treats are certified organic. We use fine organic ingredients produced without the use of antibiotics, synthetic hormones or persistent pesticides, and we don’t ever use artificial ingredients. That’s right; our frozen yogurt and ice cream aren’t just delicious. They’re real food.”” ~ Stoneyfield Website

I recently came across a product that I love. Once while grocery shopping I had a craving for ice cream. My family put ice cream on the grocery list. While searching for ice cream and seeing all the fun flavors I began to crave ice cream. When I looked at the fat content I was too appalled to eat the ice cream flavors I was picking out. There was no way I would eat a half cup of ice cream that would result in consuming over 10 grams of fat. So, I kept searching and came across a few low fat options. The problem was that the low fat options contained fake sugars. I never eat fake sugars and I was not about to start with a craving. So, as I looked through the organic section and thought about trying an expensive brand of organic non dairy green tea ice cream, I saw the Stoneyfield frozen yogurt section.

Well, I have to share that at the moment I saw Stoneyfield frozen yogurt I fell partially in love. Only partially because I had yet to taste it so for all I knew I would be let down and broken hearted. It was a risk I was willing to take at $3.79 a pint and all organic ingredients with no fat! How can you not at least give that a try! It was three dollars cheaper than most of the other organic brands. In fact, it was around the same price or cheaper than the nonorganic brands. Let me also point out that I have NO affiliation with Stoneyfield nor was I asked by them to review or advertise their product. I sincerely purchased a pint and found an alternative to giving into ice cream cravings. I can now give in without the guilt!
