All natural cleaning is really coming into it’s own. More and more people are using vinegar to clean instead of harsher chemicals, and we are talking about it, on blogs, in forums and where ever women talk about cleaning. There is a move towards products that are safer for our families and better for the environment.
Heinz, who currently makes more than 7.5 million gallons of vinegar a year for American households has announced it will be making a stronger vinegar.
The new product will be 20% stronger than traditional vinegar and still be safe for cooking. This move shows that companies hear us through our purchases.
We are buying more vinegar and using it for cleaning and Heinz is listening. Every dollar you spend influences how companies develop their products so why not use your money to show them that you want things that are safer for your family?
Although vinegar does have a strong odor it dissipates quickly. Also, based on that odor I don’t’ think many children will want to taste it like they are tempted to do with traditional cleaning chemicals.
I hope the new strength means the vinegar will do it’s job faster. That is really my only complaint about cleaning with vinegar, somethings just have to soak.
I have tried ever window cleaner on the market and for my windows, which have hard water stains on them, nothing works as well as vinegar. I actually thought about replacing some of the windows due to the film that was on them. Once I wet them down a few times with vinegar that hard water build up was gone and my windows sparkled like new.
I will be looking for this new vinegar and I’ll spend my money showing companies that I want safer products for my family.
