New Disney Destinations Policy for Hurricane Warnings

Disney Destinations and the Walt Disney Travel Company have heard the concerns of visitors and vacationers and announced a new policy to grant greater flexibility. This greater flexibility will allow you to not only modify, but also cancel your Walt Disney World Resort reservations in the event of a hurricane warning.

Considering the devastation wreaked by Rita, Katrina, Andrew and more – this hurricane warning insurance for lack of a better term can provide you and your family with some financial comfort in the event that a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area or around your own residence within 7 days before the scheduled arrival.

As a guest, you will be able to call and reschedule or cancel your Walt Disney Travel vacation package without worry of fees and other charges from Disney. This can be a great way for you and your families to enjoy your Disney vacation worry free if a hurricane warning is announced. All of your fees and deposited monies will be transferred to your rescheduled vacation so while your trip might be postponed, it won’t be canceled altogether.

Talk about Magic Your Way. For more information ask about the policy when booking your vacation plans through the Disney Destinations and Walt Disney Travel Company.
